Thanks mate, the clearcoat I used was just a generic one in a spray can from a hardware store. I just put 6 or 7 coats on it, basically used a whole can on it. Has been over 6 months since I did the frame and still looks like new...handy hint if ya going to put graffics / stickers on it, put them on before ya clearcoat it... they'll never come of.

Thanks for that info mate...theres a 4k difference in price between the models here in NZ. Stuff paying the extra when I 'set n forget' the suspension.

At 5.5 the medium will fit ya fine. For me at 6.2 I should be on a large (going by specialized's sizings), I just like smaller bikes tho. Will be worth the wait mate.

Hey, thanks man. Yeh doing the Christchurch round at Living Springs. I got the only one in Chch due to a mate who owns a shop had ordered one really earily. Its a medium size frame (im 6"2 tall) and was going to get a large (due in may too) but the med fits sweet as. They're frickn orsum to ride. I did hear that there was one down in Qtown in a bike shop window.

Pleased ya got it back mate... what is it with dumb poor people who take expensive stuff and then cruise around on it like it came from K-Mart.. Looks quite sick with no graphics.

Hey thanks mate. Yip i absolutely love it. I came from a Commencal supreme dh to this and liked the way the commie handled / jumped etc but this is just way meaner. Had to firm up the suspension (due to being 95kg) but once that was done the demo just skipped across the ground, is way lighter and a nice low front end makes it handle great. Heaps of people saying above that it hasn't got the best shocks etc...don't care, I ain't no world cup racer, just do local stuff and works sweet enough for me. Appreciate the comments mate. Cheers.
